Now it is not too difficult to imagine that you shop online and your purchases are brought at your home in less than one hour by a small unmanned aircraft. Experiments performed by Amazon are a proof of this possibility: in March 2015 Amazon obtained a permission form the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to test unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) for commercial purposes (delivery of purchases). Amazon plans that drones will fly at a speed of 80 km/h and will carry purchases weighing less than 2 kg. The drones will be able to avoid any obstacles appearing on their route and will reach their destination in half an hour.
Since the 13th of April and until the 13th of July one of Russian TV channels “RTR Planeta” is banned in Lithuania. Although this TV channel is registered in Sweden, it produces the content created by All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK), which is owned by the state of Russia and operates more than a dozen TV channels and radio stations.
The beginning of the year 2015 has brought much of blood to Europe. Tragic events strongly threatened the safety of Europeans and were related to a widely spread key word "terrorism". As a result, the leaders of European countries have begun discussions on new measures preventing terrorism and targeting the protection of privacy and the freedom of expression.
Almost twenty five years ago the biggest American telecommunications company has foreseen that we will be using such technological innovations as e-books, GPS and iPads and that the wireless connection will allow us to communicate and to work out of the office. Now we use these innovations and we cannot imagine our life without them anymore.
